
James C. Yao MD
Associate Professor, Department of Gastrointestinal (GI) Medical Oncology, Division of Cancer Medicine, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TXDr. James Yao is the Deputy Chairman in the Department of Gastrointestinal Medical Oncology at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. His research focuses on the treatment of neuroendocrine tumors. Currently, he is the Vice Chair of North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society (NANETS). He is also on the Neuroendocrine Task Force of GI Steering Committee for the National Cancer Institute (NCI). Dr. Yao is the PI on numerous clinical trials and has chaired three Phase III studies.
