Dr. Esteban is a board-certified gastroenterologist and transplant hepatologist, and assistant professor of medicine at the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed his internal medicine residency at Rush University Medical Center, followed by gastroenterology fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin and transplant hepatology fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY. Dr. Esteban has published manuscripts and presented abstracts on non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, palliative care in end-stage liver disease, and COVID-19 and liver disease. He has an interest in general clinical hepatology, portal hypertension, and liver transplantation.
