Associate Professor Jacqueline Chua is a clinician scientist at the Singapore Eye Research Institute/Singapore National Eye Centre. She earned her optometry degree from the University of Melbourne, Australia, and completed her PhD at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Her research focuses on enhancing eye disease detection through innovative imaging techniques.

Dr. Chua has contributed extensively to top-tier peer-reviewed journals and was recognized among the world's top 2% highly cited researchers in the 2023 Stanford University-Elsevier survey.
