Ivan Rodriguez is a fourth-year medical student at Keck School of Medicine (KSOM) of the University of Southern California. He is currently a Deans Research Scholar at the KSOM in the Department of Dermatology. His research interests include complex medical dermatology, inpatient dermatology, disparities in dermatologic care, and allergic contact dermatitis. He derives significant joy from teaching and mentoring others from all walks of life, particularly individuals from underserved backgrounds.

Outside of academics and research, he enjoys all things sports-related, such as watching sporting events with friends or playing in a recreational soccer league in Los Angeles. He also enjoys going on walks with his miniature Australian shepherd, Mia.
