Assistant Professor, Melanoma Medical Oncology, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas

Dr. Glitza Oliva is an assistant professor in the Department of Melanoma Medical Oncology and the Director for the Melanoma Leptomeningeal Disease (LMD) Research Program at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Her clinical research is focused on melanoma patients with CNS disease, including LMD.  She earned her medical degree from the University of Heidelberg in Germany.  Dr. Glitza Oliva completed her residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, and fellowship training in hematology and oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She is board certified by the American Board of Oncology and American Board of Internal Medicine.
