Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CaliforniaIris Ahronowitz (she/her/hers) is an Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. She completed medical school and dermatology residency at the University of California San Francisco. Her academic interests are in medical education, infectious diseases, skin conditions of organ transplant recipients, medical dermatology, gender-affirming care and HIV dermatology. She founded and directs the USC Dermatology Resident Mentoring Program, and serves on the AAD Teledermatology Comitttee, ABD exam writing team, and Society of Dermatology Hospitalists Education Committee. She is a recipient of the USC Dermatology Teaching Award and the USC Provost’s Mentoring Award.
