Associate Scientist, Department of Dermatology, and Associate Program Director, Photomedicine/Laser Research Fellowship, Henry Ford Health, Detroit, Michigan

Dr. Kohli graduated with her PhD in Physics from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan, in 2013. She joined Dermatology research at Henry Ford in 2014. Along with holding the position of an Associate Scientist at The Henry W. Lim, MD, Division of Photobiology and Photomedicine at Henry Ford Health, Dr. Kohli holds an adjunct Associate Professor position in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan; as well as the position of Associate Professor Research in the Department of Medicine at College of Human Medicine, Michigan State University.

She also serves as the member of the board of directors of the Photodermatology Society (previously known as Photomedicine Society), chair of the imaging committee of the Global Vitiligo Foundation and as an Associate Editor for the Frontiers in Photobiology journal.

Her research interests include photoprotection, vitiligo, hidradenitis suppurativa, post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and Basal cell carcinoma.

Dr. Kohli was the recipient of the American Society for Photobiology Young Investigator Award in 2020, and the Dermatology Foundation Research Career-Development-Award in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
