Gill, MD, is chair and professor, Catherine and Joseph Aresty Department of Urology, and executive director of the University of Southern California Institute of Urology in Los Angeles. Prior to 2009, he was chairman of the Department of Urology at Cleveland Clinic, where he was on the faculty for 12 years. He has published over 530 peer-reviewed scientific papers and 10 textbooks.
Dr. Gill’s specific areas of interest include robotic/laparoscopic partial nephrectomy, radical cystectomy with intracorporeal urinary diversion, and prostate cancer surgery. His team is engaged in developing novel image-guided targeted biopsy and lesion-specific focal therapy treatments for prostate cancer.
