Ian Grimm MD
Director, GI Procedures, UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill, North CarolinaDr. Ian Grimm is Professor of Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he has been practicing advanced therapeutic endoscopy since 1993 and where he has served as the Director of GI Procedures since 2000. In 2016, he studied endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) and peroral endoscopic myotomy (POEM) while on sabbatical in Japan. Currently, his practice is devoted primarily to advanced resection and third-space endoscopic procedures.
