Hossein Alinia MD is a member of the Center for Dermatology Research in the Department of Dermatology at Wake Forest University. His passion throughout his research career in dermatology has been to care for adult and pediatric patients with medical dermatology problems. His research focusses on rosacea, psoriasis, evaluation of health care delivery and patient’s quality of life, and his mission is to improve the care of patients with skin, hair, nails, and mucous membranes disease.

Dr.Alinia received his medical degrees from Tehran University of Medical Science. He worked in Tehran University’s research centers for several years before joining the Center for Dermatology Research in 2013 to work with Dr. Steven R. Feldman who has done ground breaking research on patient’s adherence to treatment. Dr. Alinia currently performs qualitative and quantitative studies of patients’ experiences of rosacea as well as electronic monitoring of psoriasis patients’ long-term adherence to topical treatment.
