Occupational Therapist, UPMC Centers for Rehab Services, OT Low Vision Rehab Team Leader, UPMC Eye Center, Pittsburgh, PAHolly Stants, MS, OTR/L, SCLV, CLVT has been a practicing Occupational Therapist since 1991 with extensive clinical experience, serving in a variety of settings. Ms. Stants completed her undergraduate BS in Occupational Therapy at the University of Pittsburgh. Ms. Stants obtained her Graduate Certificate in Low Vision Rehabilitation in 2016 under the direction of Elizabeth Barstow, PhD, OTR/L, FAOTA, SCLV and Mary Warren, PhD, OTR/L, FAOTA, SCLV. She graduated from University of Alabama, Birmingham with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2017. She is involved with PennDOT study group with Dr. Paul Freeman, Chuck Huss, COMS and Amy Lane, OTR/L, CDRS, regarding use of bioptics for adaptive driving. She currently works as an occupational therapy low vision rehabilitation team leader at the University of Pittsburgh Centers for Rehab Services Occupational Therapy Low Vision rehab program, located at the Eye Center. She participates in the planning of the occupational therapy space of the new Vision Institute. She has also participated with the Foundation for Fighting Blindness Vision Walk program and looks forward to additional collaboration in the future.
