Hiroshi Morita MD, PhD
Professor of Cardiovascular Therapeutics, Okayama University Graduate School of Medicine, Dentistry, & Pharmaceutical Sciences, Okayama, JapanDr. Hiroshi Morita received his medical degree from the Okayama University, Okayama Japan. He underwent his medical training at the Okayama University Hospital, where he also completed fellowships in cardiology and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. He did a basic research at Dr. Zipes’ Labo in the Krannert Institute of Cardiology, Indiana University School of Medicine, Indiana, for 3 years (July 2004 – June 2008), and then went back to the Okayama University Hospital. He is a cardiologist at the Okayama University Hospital and Professor of the Department of Cardiovascular Therapeutics, which is an endowed department by Japan Medtronic Inc, Okayama University Graduate School of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences. His current work is focused on the prevention of sudden cardiac death.
