Himachandana Atluri MD

Hima Atluri is a current first year hematology/oncology fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. After high school, she completed the combined BA/MD program at University of Missouri-Kansas City. She subsequently returned home to finish her residency and chief residency at Washington University in St. Louis where she developed an interest in both medical education and hematologic malignancies. She is currently focusing her interest on acute myeloid leukemia and hereditary hematologic malignancies while in fellowship and plans to be a clinical investigator in the future.
