Hillel Sternlicht MD

Hillel Sternlicht, MD, is a staff nephrologist at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs medical center. A native of Virginia Beach, he earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia and trained in nephrology at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. He completed a second fellowship in hypertensive diseases at the University of Chicago. Dr Sternlicht is board certified in internal medicine, nephrology, and is an American Heart Association-designated blood pressure specialist. He has published more than a dozen articles and book chapters in the field of hypertension. His research interests include hypertensive crisis and gestational hypertension.
