Hadas Stiebel-Kalish is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Tel Aviv University Sackler School of Medicine and the Director of the Neuro-Ophthalmology Unit at Rabin Medical Center, Israel. She completed her fellowship at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and Beth Israel Hospital with Dr. Mark Kupersmith. She completed her residency in Ophthalmology at the Rabin Medical Center following a position as assistant researcher at the Genetic Oncology research laboratory at Sheba Medical Center and graduated the Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical School, Israel after service in the Israeli Medical Corps. Her professional interests include studying means to improve long term preservation of vision in neuro-ophthalmology patients (mainly Neuromyelitis Optica, Pseudotumor Cerebri & Visual Pathway Meningiomas) and animal model research of LCA and NMO. The team at the Neuro-Ophthalmology Unit at Rabin Medical Center serve around 3500 neuro-ophthalmology referrals each year.
