Stroke Association Edith Murphy Foundation Senior Clinical Lecturer and Honorary Consultant Neuroradiologist, University of Edinburgh and NHS Lothian, UKDr. Mair's primary research interest is the imaging of ischaemic stroke. He investigates relationships between imaging biomarkers and time from stroke onset, stroke severity, response to treatment with alteplase and functional outcome. He is also interested in the application of machine learning and natural language processing technologies for the automated assessment of stroke imaging datasets.
