Giulia Di Lazzaro is a neurologist whose field of interest is movement disorders. She graduated in medicine and surgery in 2014 at Catholic University in Rome, with a thesis on the role of accelerometric analysis in the differential diagnosis of tremor syndromes, tutored by Prof. A. R. Bentivoglio. She then graduated as a Neurology specialist in November 2019 at Tor Vergata University of Rome, tutored by Prof. A. Pisani, with an experimental thesis on technology based progression biomarkers in a PD cohort, followed up longitudinally. In 2019-2020, she won the European Academy of Neurology research fellowship and spent part of her PhD at University College London, tutored by Prof. K. Bhatia. She is now a consultant neurologist at Policlinico A. Gemelli in Rome and is also currently in her last year of Neuroscience PhD, tutored by Prof. P. Calabresi and D. Centonze.
