Dr. Gili Naveh is an associate professor in the department of orthodontics at Tufts School of Dental Medicine, Boston. She is an orthodontist (DMD Tel-Aviv University, CAGS Orthodontics Boston University) as well as a basic science researcher (PhD in structural biology, Weizmann Institute of Science, and post doctoral fellowship, Harvard University). Her NIH funded lab is focused on studying the structure and function of the periodontal ligament through unraveling its 3D structure and non uniformity. More specifically generating structural manipulations in the periodontal ligament to improve orthodontic care and periodontal health. Dr. Naveh is focused on advancing dentistry by translating her research discoveries into clinical application. She is the founder of CaviSense, a company that is aimed at transforming oral care by real time at-home detection and monitoring platform.
