Gertrude Arthur is a postdoctoral fellow in the lab of Dr. David Stec at University of Mississippi Medical Center. She earned her Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Nutritional Sciences at the University of Kentucky studying the role of renal-derived soluble prorenin receptor in kidney function and blood pressure regulation. She is currently studying mechanisms underlying metabolic dysfunction associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD)-induced kidney disease. In her spare time, she loves to sight-see and read.
