Dr. George N. Ioannou completed his medical training at Oxford University, medicine residency at Duke University and GI and advanced hepatology fellowships at the University of Washington. His long-term research interests include risk factors and risk stratification for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) surveillance, modeling of HCC risk and development and testing of new HCC surveillance strategies for early detection.
