Georgann A. Poulos MD, FAAD
Assistant Professor, Department of Internal Medicine, Dermatology, Northeast Ohio Medical University, Rootstown, OhioDr. Georgann A. Poulos, M.D. is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Poulos worked as a Registered Pharmacist prior to attending medical school. She received the Doctor of Medicine degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University and completed an internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Dermatology at The Ohio State University Medical Center. She served as Academic Chief Resident during her senior year at Ohio State.
Dr. Poulos completed additional training during a fellowship in Cosmetic Dermatology at The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. This advanced training included cutaneous laser surgery, training in soft tissue augmentation and the injection of neuromodulators, autologous fat transfer, and skin resurfacing.
Dr. Poulos is the founder of Brecksville Dermatology, a practice which focuses on general and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Poulos particular enjoys applying her pharmacology background to the creative use of therapeutics in the management of dermatologic disease. In addition, her practice also specializes in injectables (neuromodulators and fillers), cutaneous laser surgery, and skin resurfacing.
Dr. Poulos has recently been appointed Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Dermatology, at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
