Dr. Gayathri J Panicker, MS, is currently working as associate consultant in the department of ophthalmology in Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Chennai. She is in charge of the Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus services in the hospital.

She has completed her ophthalmology residency in Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Pondicherry and is fellowship trained in Pediatric ophthalmology and squint at Medical Research Foundation, Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai.
