
Gabriela Cesarman MD
Head of the Cancer and Thrombosis Service, National Cancer Institute Mexico, Mexico City, MexicoDr. Cesarman graduated as a clinical fellow in Hematology and Oncology from New York Presbyterian / Weill Cornell University Medical Center in New York. She worked in the Katherine Hajjar Lab in the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology on the characterization of Annexin A2 in fibrinolysis and in antiphospholipid syndrome. She is a co-founder and scientific committee member of the Mexican Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis (SOMETH), former Board of Directors member for Thrombosis and Hemostasis Societies of North America (THSNA) and former scientific chair for the Mexican Society of Hematology (AMEH). Dr. Cesarman is currently a member of the World Thrombosis Day steering committee and head of the Cancer and Thrombosis Service at the National Cancer Institute in Mexico.
