Fred Karaisz, MD, is a current GI fellow at The Ohio State University with aspirations for therapeutic endoscopy. Dr. Karaisz grew up in New Jersey and completed most of his training in Pennsylvania. He went to medical school at Penn State College of Medicine and did his internal medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals. His passion for this field within GI stems from a steep fascination with endoscopic ultrasound and also a keen interest in radiology.
