Francisco J de Abajo, MD, MPH, PhD, is Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Alcalá and Head of the Clinical Pharmacology Unit at “Príncipe de Asturias” University Hospital, both in Alcalá de Henares, Madrid. His field of research is pharmacoepidemiology, a branch of clinical pharmacology aimed at studying the use and the effects of use of drugs in large populations. His is author of more than 150 publications in peer-review journals, with an H-index of 38 in WoS and 39 in Scopus.
