Francesco Panza is a Senior Researcher at the Unit of Epidemiological Research on Aging “GreatAGE Study,” National Institute of Gastroenterology and Research Hospital IRCCS “Saverio De Bellis” Castellana Grotte, Bari, Italy. His research interests focus on putative drugs in clinical development for treating Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders and on the understanding of reversible and age-related conditions such as different frailty phenotypes, dietary factors, sarcopenia, multimorbidity, and sensorial impairment in older age leading to neurodegeneration, in order to develop new preventive and treatment strategies.
