Chief, Division of Neurointerventional Surgery, Queen’s Medical Center, Honolulu, HawaiiFerdinand Hui, MD, is the chief of the Neurointerventional surgery division at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, and Clinical Professor of Radiology at The Johns A Burns School of Medicine, University of Hawaii. He is the senior fellow at the University of Hawaii’s Office of Innovation and Commercialization. He has authored over 150 scholarly publications, editor of one medical textbook and an associate editor of the American Journal of Neuroradiology. He developed a helicopter mediated physician transfer model to accelerate care for stroke patients (HeliStroke) as well as a co-founder of Radiology Artificial Intelligence Lab (RAIL) at Johns Hopkins. His present research focus is on elucidating mechanisms for intracranial venous congestion.
