Fatema Esmail went to medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan.  She completed her internal medicine residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois and is currently completing her fellowship in hematology/oncology at Loyola University Medical Center and Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois.  Her primary areas of interest include hematologic and oncologic malignancies and benign hematology.
