Faraz Bishehsari, MD, PhD, is interested in the field of gastrointestinal malignancies, particularly colorectal and pancreatic cancers. He studies the interaction of cancerous epithelium with the surrounding environment and how lifestyle factors could promote inflammatory and carcinogenesis pathways.
