Faleh Tamimi BDS, PhD

Professor, College of Dental Medicine, Qatar University, Doha, Qatar

Professor Tamimi, holds academic appointments at McGill University (Montreal, Canada) and at Qatar University (Doha, Qatar) were he currently serves as the Associate Dean of Academics of the College of Dental Medicine. He is also the Associate Editor of the Journal of Prosthodontics. His multidisciplinary and translational research covers various areas including the fields of biomaterials, tissue regeneration, inflammation, and chronobiology. He has published one book and 154 peer-reviewed articles with over 3000 citations, and an h-index of 32. He has received important awards including the W.W. Wood Excellence in Teaching Award from the Association of Canadian Faculties of Dentistry and the Canada Research Chair.
