Ethan Meltzer, MD, is a neuroimmiunologist and assistant professor of neurology at The University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School. He earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He completed both an internship in internal medicine and residency in neurology through Harvard Medical School at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He also completed a fellowship in multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunology at the Dell Medical School.
Dr. Meltzer’s research focuses on studying the eye to seek a better understanding of the development and progression of multiple sclerosis and related diseases. He is also a passionate educator and the associate program director of the neurology residency program at Dell Medical School.
Dr. Meltzer has received research support from Genetech.
