Dr. Eric Fountain is a fellow in Hematology/Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. His research interests include the pathogenesis and prognostic significance of thrombocytopenia in benign and malignant conditions.  

Dr. Fountain was awarded his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at Duke University Medical Center. Prior to entering medical school, Dr. Fountain was a physics and mathematics teacher at The Collegiate School in New York City. He holds a master’s degree in physics from Princeton University.
