He received his medical degree from NYU’s Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. He completed residency training in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, during which time he served as chief resident at Newton Wellesley Hospital in Newton, Massachusetts.
Dr. Kistler’s research has been published in peer-reviewed journals including JAMA Oncology, Journal of Pain and Symptom Management, and Academic Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Kistler is also a coach at the MGH Center for Physical Well-Being in Boston, where he serves as longitudinal support to trainees with a focus on goal-setting and maintaining well-being.
