Emily Szmuilowicz, MD, MS, is Associate Professor of Medicine at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, and serves as the Program Director for the Endocrinology fellowship.  She received her medical training at Harvard Medical School and completed her residency and Endocrinology fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School.  She completed a Master’s degree in Epidemiology at the Harvard School of Public Health.  Her clinical focus is the management of diabetes during pregnancy, and she serves as the Endocrine Director of the multidisciplinary Northwestern Diabetes and Pregnancy program.
