Dr. Emily R. Perito is an assistant professor at UCSF who specializes in pediatric liver disease, pediatric liver transplant, and pediatric gastroenterology. Her research, which is sponsored by the NIH, is focused on optimizing long-term outcomes after pediatric liver transplant, particularly by screening for early complications and minimizing immunosuppression. She completed fellowships in Pediatric Gastroenterology and in Pediatric Transplant Hepatology at UCSF.
