Elise Simons MD
Fellow, Gynecologic Oncology, Stanford UniversityDr. Simons received her undergraduate degree in biology from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. She subsequently received her medical degree from the University of Washington in Seattle, and completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. She is currently a first-year fellow in gynecologic oncology at Stanford University, conducting research in the molecular mechanisms underlying chemotherapeutic drug resistance in ovarian cancer. Her other interests include prevention and early detection of gynecologic malignancies and issues related to end-of-life care.
