Stamey Research Professor of Urology, Stanford University School of Medicine, Stanford, CaliforniaDr. Skinner is the Chair of the Department of Urology at Stanford University and the Thomas A. Stamey Research Professor of Urology. She obtained her urologic training at Los Angeles County Hospital/USC School of Medicine and completed a fellowship in urologic oncology under Dr. Donald Skinner at USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center. She was on the faculty at USC from 1990 through 2012 when she was recruited to Stanford. Dr. Skinner’s research and clinical practice are focused on focused on refining treatments for high-risk non-muscle invasive and invasive bladder cancer, and urinary tract reconstruction with continent urinary diversion
