Diana Athonvarangkul MD, PhD

Dr. Diana Athonvarangkul is a clinical fellow in endocrinology at the Yale School of Medicine/Yale–New Haven Hospital. After being awarded her combined M.D.-Ph.D. from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in Bronx, New York, Dr. Athonvarangkul received residency training in internal medicine at the Yale School of Medicine/Yale–New Haven Hospital.

As an endocrine fellow, Dr. Athonvarangkul is conducting translational research on the regulation of calcium and bone metabolism in lactation and breast cancer. Her previous research experience includes studies on autophagy in hormonal and metabolic regulation. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and made presentations at various professional meetings over the course of graduate and postgraduate training.
