Denise M. Sloan, Ph.D. is Associate Director, Behavioral Science Division, National Center for PTSD and Professor of Psychiatry, Boston University School of Medicine. Her research expertise is in psychosocial treatments for PTSD and emotion in psychopathology. She is particularly interested in making trauma treatments for efficient and effective. She has received funding from her work from several organizations, including the National Institute for Mental Health, Department of Defense, and Department of Veterans Affairs. Dr. Sloan is an Editor of Behavior Therapy and serves on several editorial boards.
