David L. Perez MD, MMSc, is board certified in Neurology, Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurology-Neuropsychiatry. Dr. Perez is a faculty member in the Departments of Neurology and Psychiatry at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), Harvard Medical School. Dr. Perez is the director of the MGH Functional Neurology Research Group, which is dedicated to the comprehensive clinical and neurobiological investigation of motor Functional Neurological Disorders. Dr. Perez is also the founding director of the MGH Functional Neurological Disorders Clinic based within the Departments of Neurology and Psychiatry.


Dr. Perez receives research support from the NIH, Sidney R. Baer Jr. Foundation, and the Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Perez has received honoraria from Harvard Medical School, American Academy of Neurology, Movement Disorder Society, and the Toronto Western Hospital.
