Danijela Gasevic is an Associate Professor of Chronic Disease Prevention and Head of the Professional Education Program and Postgraduate Program in the School of Public Health and Prevention Medicine at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. She graduated from the School of Medicine, University of Belgrade and obtained a PhD degree in Population Health at Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, Canada.

Danijela’s major research focus is prevention of chronic non-communicable diseases, while she also does research in health professions education. Danijela is a member of the Human Research Ethics Committee at the Alfred Hospital, Alfred Health, Melbourne, Australia, while also holding adjunct research positions at the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute, Melbourne, Australia; and Centre for Global Health, Usher Institute, The University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, UK.
