Daniel Muller MD, PhD
Associate Professor, University of Wisconsin, School of Medicine and Public Health, Madison, WIDaniel Muller, MD, PhD, joined the University of Wisconsin faculty in 1991. He graduated from Nassau Community College in 1973 with an AA degree in liberal arts and from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1975 with a BS in biological sciences. He then did graduate work at the UW in the Department of Medical Microbiology, obtaining a MS degree in 1979 and a PhD in 1981. Dr. Muller studied medicine at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, obtaining the MD degree in 1985, and he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He spent 6 years at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill training in internal medicine, rheumatology and basic science immunogenetics. Dr. Muller lectures on the basic science of autoimmune disease and the aging of the immune system. He is the course director for the UW School of Medicine and Public Health elective in complementary and alternative medicine.
