Dan Li MD, AGAF

Dan Li, MD, is a senior gastroenterologist at Kaiser Permanente Northern California and a physician researcher with the Delivery Science & Applied Research Program at Kaiser Permanente Northern California Division of Research. Dr. Li’s research focuses on the screening and prevention of gastrointestinal cancers, with a special emphasis on gastric cancer and colorectal cancer. Dr. Li conducts research projects on the risk of stomach cancer in individuals with premalignant gastric conditions, such as gastric intestinal metaplasia or dysplasia. His recent work also focuses on improving the diagnosis and treatment of Helicobacter pylori in US populations. Dr. Li serves on the guideline committees of American Gastroenterological Association and American College of Gastroenterology for the diagnosis and management of gastric premalignant lesions.
