Assistant Professor, University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine, Department of Radiation Oncology, Birmingham, AlabamaDr. Hunter Boggs is Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. After receiving his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport, Dr. Boggs underwent residency training in radiation oncology at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, where he was chief resident of the radiation oncology program in 2013/2014.
He has published in various peer-reviewed journals, and is also a reviewer for a number of journals. He is a member of AACR and RSNA, and the Leksell Gamma Knife Society.
Dr. Boggs has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the 2015 RSNA Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award and the 2015 University of Maryland Department of Radiation Oncology “Paper of the Year” Award.
