Claudia Stoellberger MD

Since completion of her education as a cardiologist in 1991, Claudia Stöllberger is the head of the echocardiographic laboratory of the Krankenanstalt Rudolfstiftung. From 1996-2005 she was the chief of the cardiologic outpatient clinic and since 2006 she is the chief of the cardiologic ward 13 B. She takes care of patients with coronary heart disease, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathies, heart failure and arrhythmias. Since 2005 she is associate professor at the University of Vienna. She has published 620 articles in peer-reviewed journals concentrated on atrial fibrillation, echocardiography, cardiomyopathy, cardiac involvement in patients with neuromuscular disorders and left ventricular noncompaction/hypertrabeculation.
