Christopher Miller, MD, is Assistant Professor of Dermatology and the Director of Dermatologic Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennyslvania. He earned his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University in 2000 and his bachelor at University of Notre Dame in 1996. Dr. Miller’s clinical practice focuses on the use of Mohs micrographic surgery and reconstructive surgery to treat patients with skin cancers, particularly melanomas of the head and neck and advanced tumors. He supplements his clinical practice with research concentrating on the clinical and epidemiologic aspects of various skin cancers.

Dr. Miller’s recent research has evaluated the efficacy of Mohs surgery for melanomas of the head and neck and advanced reconstructive surgery techniques. He also continues to investigate his special interests in advanced techniques of Mohs micrographic surgery, dermatologic surgery education, and service excellence in health care delivery.
