Christina S. Han MD
UCLA MFM Fellowship Program Director, Center for Fetal Medicine and Women's Ultrasound, Los Angeles, CADr. Han is currently Associate Professor and Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship Program Director at UCLA, and is in clinical practice at the Center for Fetal Medicine and Women’s Ultrasound. She received her medication education from UCLA, residency training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and subspecialty fellowship training at Yale University/Yale-New Haven Hospital. During her training, she was awarded the William H. Dignam, M.D. Award for Excellence in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Gregory Dantzler, M.D. Chief Resident Teaching Award, Berlex Resident Teaching Award, Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons Outstanding Resident Award, CREOG Award, and Bruce and Sylvia Stern Resident Manuscript Award. She was also active in the ACOG District IX Committee for Underserved Women, international medical missions, and hospital committees during that time.
Dr. Han is an active researcher and has published on preeclampsia, preterm labor, diabetes, and maternal and fetal complications of pregnancy. She was a Women’s Reproductive Health Research program scholar and an Albert McKern Scholar for perinatal research at Yale. Additionally, with a strong interest in information technology, she is developing novel web- and smartphone-based technology platforms to enhance the physician-patient, physician-physician, and educator-trainee interactions, and serves as CMO of Jubel Health, a digital health company in the reproductive space. Dr. Han was previously chair of the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine Communications committee, and currently serves as subcommittee chair of the SMFM Podcast series.
Dr. Han is a double board-certified in the subspecialties of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, playing music, reading, hiking, and yoga.
