Christian van der Werf MD, PhD

Christian van der Werf (1983), MD, PhD, finished medical school in December 2007 at Utrecht University, Utrecht, the Netherlands. He then worked towards a PhD on sudden death in the young and clinical aspects of inherited cardiac diseases at the Heart Center, Department of Clinical and Experimental Cardiology, at the Academic Medical Center, University of Amsterdam, Amsterdam, the Netherlands. This PhD was obtained in 2013 and thereafter he continued as a postdoctoral researcher. In the meantime he started his clinical cardiology fellowship, which will last until April 2018.
