Christessa Emille Que Albay, MD, is currently a third year Medical Resident at Cardinal Santos Medical Center, who served as Chief Resident from January to June 2020. She graduated with academic distinction (College Scholar) from the College of Medicine, University of the Philippines Manila, and was awarded as one of the most outstanding interns (OB) during her internship in the Philippine General Hospital. She graduated Magna Cum Laude, BS Chemistry from the University of the Philippines, Diliman. Her interest in research stemmed from her Interventional Radiology rotation in the University of California Los Angeles David Geffen School of Medicine during her clerkship year. To date, Dr. Albay has presented case reports, meta-analysis and original presentations in both local and  international conferences, with an international publication on their meta-analysis “Dual versus mono antiplatelet therapy for acute non- cardio embolic ischemic stroke or transient ischemic attack, an efficacy and safety analysis - updated meta-analysis” and her original research on “Diagnostic Accuracy of the SARS-CoV-2 IgG/IgM Rapid Test Cassette (Healgen®) in the Management of Suspected Patients with Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).”
