Associate Professor, Department of Neurology and Neurosurgery, McGill University, Montreal, CanadaDr. Christel Renoux, MD, PhD, is a pharmacoepidemiologist and neurologist, Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology &Neurosurgery at McGill University, Montreal, Canada, associate member in the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health, and Investigator at the Centre for Clinical Epidemiology at the Jewish General Hospital-Lady Davis Institute for Medical Research. She is also a member of the Canadian Network for Observational Drug Effect Studies (CNODES).
Her research focuses on pharmacoepidemiology and neuroepidemiology. Using various large health databases, she evaluates the safety and effectiveness of medications, with a special interest in neurological and psychiatric medications and outcomes, while applying advanced epidemiological methods. Dr. Renoux is the recipient of an Award of Excellence from the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
